About BzyBdy.com

Coffee With Allan BzyBdy.com is a project of Allan (Doug) Cockerill, a freelance writer and marketing consultant based in Bathurst, NSW Australia.

Titled “Allan’s Hot Trends,” BzyBdy is intended to be both a research tool for Allan in his efforts to learn more about search engine optimization, (and to implement successful results his for clients), and as a showcase for his article writing.

The site features stories from Google Hot Trends, as well as top news stories in different categories from Australia and around the world.

Care is taken to give credit, as far as possible, to the original writer and publisher of all content, with a links to the original article.

Allan has set himself the challenge of finding a hot news story, and then researching, writing and publishing the article, or editorial content on the original story, in the shortest possible time!

He first used this tactic on Allan Cockerill.com with some success in 2008 and 2009.

Allan has been writing for a number of years, having completed a couple of courses with AWAI (the American Writers and Artists Institute), as well as completing a short business writing course at Mitchell College (now CSU) back when Moses was a lad!

Helping businesses get their market place conversations in order is his specialty, and his passion!

One of his favorite quotes is from The Clue Train Manifesto:

‘Markets are conversations – Talk is cheap, silence is fatal..’

Allan uses this quote to make the point that if you aren’t engaging with your customers, and listening to what they say, they could be talking to others, and you may not like what they say!

With increased price competition in the market place, difficult economic conditions and increasing costs, marketing needs to be affordable.

Advertising needs to yield results – measurable results!

Allan also takes a particular interest in social media.

He has spent three years learning about, and reviewing social networking sites. The knowledge gained by these activities is used to create a presence for clients where their customers often spend time – on social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter.

Allan maintains a network of websites, writing and publishing articles for others as well as developing web marketing campaigns for clients.

Part of a network of independent writers, marketers, web builders, search engine optimization specialists and creative artists, Allan is well placed to help you develop your marketing plan.
